Your route to new qualifications

Wednesday evenings
  • Ideal for: Young people, 11-15 yrs
  • Takes place on: Wednesdays, 5pm-7pm
  • Takes place at: The Hothouse, Morecambe
  • Music Leader: Rachel Parsons
  • Cost per session: £2

Want to explore your creativity and get a nationally recognised qualification? At More Music there are lots of ways for you to do your Arts Award through involvement in our music making projects. You can be the creator or performer of your own work, or develop your skills in essential roles like marketing or stage management.

The award is creative, flexible and valuable, and can be achieved at Bronze, Silver or Gold levels. You’ll end up with a portfolio or arts log that shows off your creativity and gives you a recognised national qualification or award to put on your CV.

What's involved?

At Bronze level you will be able to:

  • take part in different arts activities
  • be inspired by artists and arts organisations
  • experience arts events
  • share your arts skills with others

And for Silver and Gold you'll also get to:

  • set yourself arts challenges
  • organise your own projects
  • research arts careers and the arts sector
