Pete's Party Nights - Songs

Come and join the fun!

Saturday 17 March 2018
Pete’s Party Nights - Songs - SOLD OUT!

Doors 7.30pm

More Music favourite Frenchie will be performing on Saturday night - Pete says:
Frenchie was there at the very start of Stages in the 90’s with Pete French at the Lighthouse. He has always been one of my favourite songwriters and I just love his voice and playing. I was so happy when he agreed to do a set of his early songs for this gig … and then to be in his horn section with Rooney on bass and Rachel on drums. Can’t wait ! He has been with More Music all the way!
Have a listen to Frenchie here

With:
The Heartbreaks
Katy Pickles
Youth Orbit One
S.L.O.W

The Heartbreaks

The band formed in the seaside resort of Morecambe in 2009, brought together by a shared love of soul music, Orange Juice and gritty northern literature. They recorded 2 albums and successfully toured the UK and internationally for 6 years. It’s brilliant to welcome them back to More Music to reform for this one-off homecoming gig.

Katy Pickles

Katy is a singer/songwriter from Lancaster who brings deeply personal originals with her haunting voice and guitar.

Youth Orbit One

This cohort of brilliant young players formed in 2013, created new music and played at dozens of More Music events. They have come from all corners of the across the UK to play together once more.

The evening will also feature More Music’s very own saxophonist Matt Robinson, singer / songwriter Frenchie, Rachel Parsons on kit and beatboxer and rapper S.L.O.W.
