Little Man Your Time Has Arrived

From Saturday 13 January
Paul Kondras

"Impressions, fragments, memories of places. How often has one seen a gem, an oddity, a surprise, a piece of information, an idea only for it to dissolve in the memory and be forgotten?

A visual encounter lost forever.

When, where, and how did the " Little Man” arrive in my life, and more importantly, what is he? A talisman, a mascot, a gargoyle, an amulet, a totem, a lucky, or unlucky charm.

I have no idea… a conundrum, but inexplicably important in my world.

The project is not only about my relationship with this historic artefact, but about size, scale, importance and power.

One black dot on a sheet of white paper is insignificant, a million black dots become black paper."

The exhibition at More Music previews a planned, larger exhibition later this year in collaboration with a hypnotist, philosopher, a film-maker and several artists.

Tomorrow belongs to the "Little Man”
