Standing Together Against Racism

Held at 53 Degrees, Fylde Road, Preston

Preston Standing Together Against Racism Choir is back for 2017!

More Music is proud to be part of this event once again, part of a partnership with Racial Equality and Diversity Council, Preston Town Council, Lancashire County Council and UCLAN.

After three successful years of Preston young people coming together to sing their message of intolerance towards racism and community cohesion they are back to perform for you again!

The event will be an evening of Song, Dance and Drama performances from pupils of schools across Preston including the Lancashire Youth Vocal Ensemble along with the continued support and speeches from Preston Youth Council and Guest Speakers.

Please have a look at a video of last year's event below:

The Choir event is part of a wider community event led by Preston & Western Lancashire Racial Equality and Diversity Council and its partners, with a FREE Community Day taking place on the Flag Market in Preston on Saturday 18 March from 11am-3pm. This event will be showcasing a variety of performers from a range of cultures in Preston and various stalls from local community groups and organisations.
