Indian and Western  music brought together

Sat 7 February, 8pm

Support from the Long Walk Chinese Orchestra

Tarang is the UK’s National Ensemble for Indian Music. All members of the ensemble are early-career musicians performing Hindustani (north Indian) or Carnatic (south Indian) music. The ensemble is also strengthened by classically trained Western musicians who bring their instruments, musical experience, and skills into the mix, which further enhances the ensembles creative platform.

Formed in 2003 by Milapfest, the ensemble was conceived to create career pathways for emerging artists, by offering expert training, and performance opportunities to support development and give musicians the skills to thrive in the music industry. Find out more about Tarang at
