HK November Songs
Today I am at the International Centre for Community Music at York St Johns where there is a day for sharing new research in the sector. And currently we are listening to a Skype presentation from Laurier University where Lee Willingham runs a powerful CM programme.
Tomorrow I travel to Hong Kong for a fifteenth visit to the city over the past ten years and where our partners - http://www.cccd.hk/ - recently said in an email "your contribution to hk's community music is immense".
The international community of practice is developing in so many places - there is such a search for the changes that the work can initiate and for the common understanding of values. And in the current socio-political context both here in the West and also in HK and China there is ever more need for our programmes.
I'll be writing a daily song this time so do log in and listen !
